HVEA provided design and construction inspection services for the highly anticipated Eastdale Village development, a 35-acre town center in the Town of Poughkeepsie. The project included constructing new entrances off NYS Route 44, sidewalks and curbing throughout the corridor, curb extensions (“bump-outs”) at key intersections, drainage augmentation, relocation of overhead utilities to an underground duct bank, traffic signal design and signing and striping.

Included upgrades to 27 traffic signals throughout the adjacent roadway network including the installation of Adaptive Signal Control (ASC) components (detection, communications and signal control software/hardware).
